Bajaj Service Technician Excellence Program (STEP) is a flagship skilling initiative for two and three-wheeler service technicians, designed by Bajaj Auto’s service experts. The program addresses the growing demand for technicians equipped to work with modern vehicles, evolving technologies, and diverse fuel platforms. Delivered through short-term, hands-on training across centres, STEP equips 10th - 12th pass youth, ITI graduates, and diploma holders with practical skills, diagnostic capability, and real-world exposure.

Beneficiaries
After enrolling in the STEP course, I gained basic, advanced, and expert-level knowledge. The course provides training in understanding the functioning of various motion sensors used in two-wheelers. It also covers the working of the engine head and includes training on monitoring and assessing engine quality as part of the curriculum. I would like to thank the Bajaj Auto Foundation team for providing us with the opportunity to participate in this program.

I enrolled in the STEP program to pursue a career as a technician. Through this course, I received training on both the basic and advanced aspects of two-wheelers, including their functioning, the latest developments and technologies being introduced, and the fundamentals of repair and maintenance along with the best repair solutions. I have always been interested in learning about these aspects of two-wheelers, and now that I have completed the course, I am ready to work as a technician.
